This issue most commonly occurs on your first visit but can periodically happen if you accidentally forget your login details or upgrade your web browser. It is easily resolved however and if you simply follow the details for your web browser, you should be able to access your account and meal plan.

The most common logging in issue experienced by our members relates to the cookie settings on their web browser.
Tescodiets use cookies to recognise each member as a unique visitor to the site, so that you can securely access your personal online account. Therefore, to log into your account you need to set your browser to accept cookies from Tescodiets.
This issue most commonly occurs on your first visit but can periodically happen if you accidentally forget your login details or upgrade your web browser. This login issue is easily resolved however and if you simply follow the details for your web browser, you should be able to access your account and meal plan.
Setting your browser cookies:
Internet Explorer 6
If you are using Internet Explorer version 6, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Click on the 'Tools' header in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Internet Options'
- Under the 'General' tab, and the 'Temporary Internet files' header, select the 'Delete Cookies' button and then 'OK'
- Click the 'Privacy' tab
- Move the privacy setting to Medium.
- Under 'Web Sites' click the 'Edit' button
- in the box 'Address of Website' type in: tescodiets.com and click the 'Allow' button and then OK
- Once changed please enter your username and password in the login box on the right side of the page.
Internet Explorer 6 (for XP service pack 2 or 3)
If you have recently upgraded your Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or 3, you will probably be using another version of Internet Explorer and the details below will help you to set your browser cookies:
- Click on the 'Tools' header in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Internet Options'
- Under the 'General' tab, and the 'Temporary Internet files' header, select the 'Delete Cookies' button and then 'OK'
- Click the 'Privacy' tab, and move the privacy setting to Medium if necessary.
- Select the 'Sites' button and in the box 'Address of Website' type in: tescodiets.com and click the 'Allow' button and then OK
- Once changed please enter your username and password in the login box on the right side of the page.
Internet Explorer 7
If you are using Internet Explorer version 7, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Click on the 'Tools' header located in the top menu bar, scroll through the menu and select 'Internet Options'. Please note, the 'Tools' option may also be located to the right-hand side of your Tool bar, displayed with an icon. You can use this Tools icon to find Internet Options also
- Under the 'General' tab, and the 'Browsing history' section select the 'Delete' button.
- Select the 'Delete Cookies' button in the cookies section and select yes to agree to delete cookies. Once completed close the Delete Browsing History option.
- Next select the 'Security' tab
- Move the privacy setting to Medium.
- Then select the 'Privacy' tab and select the 'Sites' button under settings.
- in the box 'Address of Website: type in tescodiets.com and click the 'Allow' button and then OK
- Once changed please enter your username and password in the login box on the right side of the page
Internet Explorer 8
If you are using Internet Explorer version 8, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Click on 'Tools' at the top right hand side of your browser window and scroll through and select 'Internet Options'
- Under the 'General' tab, and the 'Browsing history' header, select the 'Delete…' button
- In the new window that opens, tick the box beside 'Cookies’ and click the 'Delete’ button
- NB* be sure and wait for the 'Deleting browsing history progress bar to finish and disappear
- Next click the 'Privacy' tab
- Move the privacy setting to Medium or click the 'Default' button
- Next Click on the 'Sites' button type in the address of our website (under where it says 'Address of Website:') and click 'Allow'
- Then click 'OK' and 'OK'
- Close down your browser and then open up a new browser session and go to our website and login as normal
AOL 9
If you are using AOL version 9, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Click on the 'Settings' icon in the top menu bar
- In the new window which will open , click on the 'A-Z' tab
- Click on 'D-K'
- Select 'Internet [Web] Options'
- Under the 'General' tab and the middle header 'Temporary internet files' click 'Delete Cookies'
- Click the 'Privacy' tab
- Move the privacy setting to Medium and select the 'Sites' button
- In the box 'Address of Website: type in edietsuk.com and click the 'Allow' button and then OK until the pop-ups are closed.
- Once changed please enter your username and password in the login box on the right side of the page.
Mozilla Firefox 3.0
If you are using Mozilla Firefox version 3.0, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Open up Mozilla Firefox
- Click on the 'Tools' header in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Clear Private Data…'
- Leave only the 'Cookies’ tick box ticked and click the 'Clear Private Data Now’ button
- Again click on the 'Tools' in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Options'
- Click on the 'Privacy' section at the top of the window that has just opened
- In the 'cookies section’, ensure that 'Accept cookies from sites’ is ticked and that 'Accept third party cookies’ is ticked. Then click OK
- Close down your browser and then open up a new browser session and go to our website and login as normal
Mozilla Firefox 3.5
If you are using Mozilla Firefox version 3.5, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Open up Mozilla Firefox
- Click on the 'Tools' header in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Clear Recent History…'
- In the drop-down box beside 'Time Range to Clear' choose 'Everything'.
- Click on the arrow pointing down beside 'Details' to display more options.
- Only tick 'Cookies'
- Click on the 'Clear Now' button.
- Again click on 'Tools' in the top menu bar, scroll through and select 'Options'
- Click on the 'Privacy' section at the top of the window that has just opened
- Ensure that 'Remember History' is selected in the drop-down box beside 'Firefox will:' underneath 'History'. Then click OK
- Close down your browser and then open up a new browser session and go to our website and login as normal
Mozilla Firefox
If you are using any version of Firefox, you will have to explicitly set the browser to accept tescodiets cookies. To do this, please follow these simple instructions:
- Click on 'Tools' header located in the top menu bar, scroll through the menu and select 'Options'
- Select 'Privacy' from the menu bar and under the 'Cookies' header select the 'Exceptions' button
- Add tescodiets.com in the 'Address of Website' text area and select the 'Allow' button and then close the window and save the changes.
- Once changed please enter your username and password in the login box on the right side of the page
Safari
If you are using Apple Safari please follow the instructions below:
- Open the Safaru menu and select [Preferences].
- Select the [Security] icon.
- Where is says 'Accept Cookies' select the last option [Only to the sites you wish to navigate to].
- Once this is complete, close down the Security pop-up and Safari.
- Open Safari again, return to our homepage http://www.tescodiets.com/ or this page and enter your login details.
