Back on track!

Phew! well, slow and shaky and a bit uncertain, but I seem to be back on track. I managed to lose 1lb last week and am feeling much more positive. I'm also back to doing a little light running. Things are getting back to normal and I'm feeling a bit more in control.
What got me through was the great support from other folk and a big 'thank you' to Golden, Cookie2012, Grannysasa and Bluegirl26 for giving me tips and encouragement. I have my fat photo in a prominent place and I did not give up - thank you guys.
Sometimes you just have to wait for things to pass. I was certainly swamped with lots of stuff going on and the thought of tackling my weight just seemed a step too far. I just felt overwhelmed by it all. Thanks for the cheering from the sidelines; I didn't cave in and I went for damage limitation until the storm clouds passed. I stuck with my commitment to lose weight and things changed as they always do.
I don't think losing these few pounds is going to be quite as easy this time. Odd, you'd think 4 stone weight loss was a bit more of a challenge than a few pounds, but it isn't. Of course I've not got the time and energy for another major project at the moment with all that's going on. I'm expecting a few more ups, downs and plateaus, but at least I can keep plodding away.
So thank you for all your help and support. Here's to taking the scenic route on weight loss!

Well done Sue. You've done it before and I'm sure you are going to do it again. Frame of mind is so important isn't it? It sounds like you are back in gear so it's all systems go, Fingers crossed for the lbs to start dropping! Fleur xx

Im glad you are using the photo trick and i hope its helping you to concentrate on losing those last few pounds.
I had a weigh in day today and lost another 3lb a total of 9lb in 20 days so i am feeling on a high even though i had a bad few days last week am going to try and stay on track this week ....i only hopr i can stay as motivated and do as well as you xxx Keep it up xxx
