Alex gave birth to Lourdes in November 2011 but soon pinged back into shape.
But the Wag insists that she did not resort to a quick-fix diet, but instead maintained a sensible exercise regime during her pregnancy, as well as a healthy diet.
She told OK! magazine: "This time I kept up with my fitness routine throughout the pregnancy, I took it carefully and didn't overdo it, but I really think that's what has helped me get back into shape quite quickly."
The wife of footballer Steven Gerrard also advised against drastic measures, insisting that you have to be "really careful" and start off gently after having a baby.
She also attributes her healthy diet to her husband, who obviously eats "really well".
Yet despite eating healthily, Alex does not believe in denying herself the occasional treat.
"I don't deny myself anything, if I fancy some chocolate or a biscuit I will have one or two, just not the whole packet!" she revealed.
