Enjoyable exercises are 'crucial' for diet success
Charlene Hutsebaut, exercise expert for The De-Stress Diet, claimed that the key to a successful fitness plan lies in discovering a sport or exercise routine that people take pleasure in but is also challenging.
She said: "What one should look for is how they feel during the activity. Is it fun? Does it make them feel good? Does it enhance their body awareness? Is there a sense of looking forward to the next time they do it?"
Ms Hutsebaut added that many UK consumers set themselves unrealistic goals in the New Year as they look to work off the excesses of the festive season.
They should, according to the exercise expert, start off slowly and build up their exercise programme gradually as this will allow them to see how far they have progressed.
