Mr Halsall, who has worked as a professional trainer for 15 years, explained that women should workout using weights to get the best results.
He said: "Cleaning up the diet and being focused on a long-term gain with short-term goals will reap rewards ... [and] women should not fear working with heavier weights."
If a person is hoping to alter their shape they will need to put their body "under pressure or in a high intensity situation", he said.
He suggested that if a person has the right amount of "dedication and desire", they should be able to achieve anything.
Despite rumours that Pippa Middleton would win this year's Rear of the Year, former Countdown presenter Carol Vorderman walked away with the honour.
