Tesco Diets took the hard work out of dieting.
After surprising her hubbie with a sky dive for his upcoming 50th, Helena started to think that she would like in on the action. However at over 15 stone she wasn’t in the best shape for extreme sports. After joining the Tesco Diets Vegetarian plan Helena lost 3 stone 13 lbs and dropped from a size 20 to a size 14. Helena, her husband and 3 kids did a sky dive and had one amazing experience.

What made you decide to join Tesco Diets?
I was planning to treat my husband to an indoor sky diving experience and wanted to join in too. I knew if I was still ‘big’ I wouldn’t have the confidence to do so. In May we all went sky diving, it was amazing.
Tell us about your diet before and after joining?
I’ve always enjoyed cooking for the family and I still do, but I am more careful about my portions now. Tesco Diets took the hard work out of dieting, it was so easy to have the meals chosen for you and then I could alter them if I wanted. The best bit was being able to send the shopping list to the online shop and just wait for the delivery to come. Instead of looking in the fridge and wondering what to eat, I knew exactly what to have for each meal.
Has exercise helped you to lose weight?
I haven’t really increased my exercise, but I do find that zumba helps me to move more freely. I just don’t have enough hours in the day for formal exercise classes, but I ensure I always take the stairs.
Has losing weight changed your life?
Losing weight has left me feeling healthier and more confident. I joined in activities I would otherwise have shunned. I enjoy buying clothes now whilst previously it was more tricky and felt like a chore.
How do you view yourself now?
I am pleased that my weight is back to my pre-children weight and I feel that by losing it slowly, I have re-set the way I feel about food.
Have you any top tips for new members?
The meal plans are so easy to tailor that if you don’t fancy the suggested menus or ingredients you can just change them!
