Finally a diet that works for me!
Although Susan suffered from low self-esteem she was unwilling to sign up for a diet, because she felt most of them would restrict her or use complicated counting systems. For these very reasons the online diet plans appealed to Susan. They are simple and healthy, exactly what she wanted. Most of all Susan thought the diet plans could help her to change her whole outlook on life and she was right, they did and she lost 1 stone 8 lbs in the process.

Have you tried any other diets and were they successful?
I haven’t tried any other diets as they seem too restrictive, that’s what I liked about the online diet plans. Also other diet plans want you to learn about points and sins, I didn’t want to do that at all.
What made you decide to join us?
I had a look around the website and thought about the plan, it sounded perfect for me.
Was your weight causing you any problems?
I felt really bad about how I looked and I hated the fact that size 14 was too small for me. It’s only now that I am getting close to my ideal weight and since I have needed to buy new clothes that my confidence has returned.
Tell us about your diet before you joined us?
I ate junk food like fish and chips and lots of crisps. Now I still like to eat out, but I choose more carefully. If I do order something not so healthy, I understand what I have to do to get back in gear for the rest of the week. It’s like the plan understands that you want to live a normal life of eating out and drinking wine occasionally.
Has exercise played any part in helping you to lose weight?
I have been exercising whilst on the plan, but I never seem to get into a good routine. Some weeks I exercise a lot, but others when work is busy I don’t go to the gym at all. To begin with I did a 10k run which really motivated me to exercise and then towards the end of last year I joined a gym down the road so that I could swim and do cross training work. It has helped me to lose a bit of weight and has helped me tone up, but I don’t think it's been the reason I have lost weight.
Have you enjoyed the online diet plans?
The meal plans are the key for me, and then being able to go straight to the shopping list. I also loved the recipes as they really showed me how to cook nice meals, especially learning about fish cooking and I love the chilli recipe.
What difference has losing weight made to you?
It has made a huge difference, I like being curvy and I love how my waist looks now.
How do you feel about your weight loss?
I have broken many bad habits. On top of that I am back to wearing a size 12 and I am happy to show off a bit more flesh. I have banned myself from buying black or grey clothes to make sure I get colour back into my wardrobe.
Are you confident about maintaining your weight loss?
I got married recently and I was worried that I might lose track, so I made sure I kept up my weekly weigh ins. Doing them helps me keep the weight off.
